Before my beautiful son was born our care in Oxford was more than satisfactory. There were prenatal classes with a midwife, a health care worker and other parents at various stages of the last trimester. The classes were friendly and everyone wasn't afraid to ask questions. I remember when we watched a video of a birth... It was a shock and left most of us very quiet after that session! I also remember the plastic doll and the demonstrations..... useful. I'll always appreciate the prenatal yoga classes we found too.

I still feel, however, that the after care or prep talks for what to expect after baby came was not enough... Breast feeding worries, feeds that left you hurting with painful nipples and breasts were never mentioned.
